Dear Parents,

Thank you for registering with Go! Princeton Soccer.  Saturday morning is the "kickoff" of our soccer season.  There are a couple of things everyone should know:

1) Shinguards are required by state law!
2) Look on the website to get your team assignment.
3) Get your field assignment.
4) Weather may be a factor on Saturday:
    -In the case of heavy rains, the Princeton Rec. Dept. closes the fields if they believe them to be unplayable.  We have no say in the matter!
    -We will post a cancellation on the website at least 30 minutes prior to the start (by 8:30).

Below are directions for accessing the online portions:

Looking up your child’s team assignment:
-Go to www.princetonsoccer.org
-Follow the link on the left to "Go! Princeton Soccer"
-Follow the link on the left for registration
-Select the third option "update personal info and check my player team/coach"
-Log in (if you do not have the password, use your child’s information)
-Your child’s team assignment will be a color next to their name (if you just registered, this my not be posted yet).

Field assignments:
-On the Go! Princeton Soccer page, there will be links on the left for age levels.
-follow the correct link and you should see a listing of which teams are playing and on which fields.

Dear Go! Princeton Soccer Players, Parents, and Supporters:

 

The Princeton Soccer Association is pleased to announce registration for the Spring 2008 Go! Princeton Soccer Recreational Program. The goal of Go! Program is to provide each player the opportunity to experience the game of soccer in a fun, pressure-free environment. The program is structured to meet United States Youth Soccer Associations (USYSA) recommendations for small-sided games. The USYSA is the governing body for youth soccer in America. Their recommendations are based on years of research and recommendations from the world’s best soccer players, coaches, and administrators. Small-Sided Games (SSG) are games that allow players to touch the ball more often, play both offense and defense, and give the players more opportunities to be successful.

 

9:00am- 10:00am       Pre-K and K will play games of 3 vs. 3 with no goalkeeper

9:00am- 10:15am       1^st and 2^nd Grade will play games of 4 vs. 4 with no goalkeeper

10:45am- 12:00noon  3^rd-5^th Grade will play games of 5 vs. 5 with a goalkeeper

9:00am- 10:30am       Middle School Program will play up to 9 vs. 9 with goalkeepers

 

The Go! Princeton Soccer Recreational Program will begin on Saturday April 5^th and continue each Saturday until June 14^th. The program will not run on Saturday May 24^th in observation of Memorial Day. The Pre-K- 5^th Grade program will be held at Community Park South and the Middle School Program will be held at Farm View Field.

 

The cost of the Go! Princeton Soccer Recreational Program is as follows:

 

Pre-K-5^th Grade Program $95* on or before March 1^st, $105* after March 1^st

 

Middle School Program $110* on or before March 1^st, $125* after March 1^st

 

The success of the Go! Princeton Soccer Recreational Program is due in large part to the support given by our Volunteer Coaches. No previous experience other than a willingness to help children and an open mind to learn the game of soccer is necessary.  The Volunteer Coaches will be guided by an experienced professional staff and a group of volunteer Princeton Soccer Association travel league players. Volunteer Coaches will also receive a Coaches Manual and a Day 0 Coaches Clinic by our experienced professional staff.
